The process of permits can be a hassle, we take the headache out so that you can feel safe knowing you are getting quality. Ask your contractor if they are Licensed and ask to see what license they have. Ask if they plan to pull a permit. You want One! It is to protect your valuable Asset and to protect you as a consumer. Budget contractors are not usually licensed and therefore will say you don't need a permit. Check with your local building department if you are not sure. Building inspections are meant to make sure that your project is being executed to a standard you deserve and that protects you.
